In an alternate universe, Superman is the son of Zod and was raised by a caring couple of Mexican immigrants living in harsh conditions, Batman is a young vampiric doctor, Kirk Langstrom, obsessed with an everlasting search for a cure for his disease and Wonder Woman is Bekka, the widowed queen of the world of Darkside. The three antiheroes unite and create the Justice League, despite wheelchair-bound Lex Luthor and others&#39; protests. They operate often outside of the law and often kill the villains, but the US government tolerates them and works with them to an extent, since the three are willing to cooperate with the authorities and they never kill civilians. However, the all out paranoia and protests against their methods and untouchable position are growing. Things take a turn for the worse, when they are framed for a series of murders of famous scientists, who work for the government, and President Amanda Waller orders their arrest. They decide to violently resist arrest at all cost, until they can find the real culprits themselves. A good twist on the old formula After watching DCs newest animated film I have to say i am impressed. They took the well know characters of Batman, Wonder Woman and superman, and they changed it just a bit, which resulted in a lo more dark and gritty justice league. The characters are well thought of, not acting based on clichés, and the voice acting is really good. The story is good but based on the 3 pre-released short on you tube I was - expecting even more, especially after watching super-mans short with Braniac, which is genius. The twist of the story is a bit expected, and quite similar to the standard Justice lord story arc, but that was good, so fits herewell. I recommend watching it to all comic lover except to those who hate when the lore of the comics changed (if you hated iron man 3 because of the Mandarin don&#39;t watch it) Okay, I have to admit I really hated the Chronicle shorts because of how much overkill and brutal they were. Plus I couldn&#39;t stand the universe changes which also confused me. But this movie answered most of my questions.<br/><br/>In this version, we see that Jor-el couldn&#39;t give his DNA simple to baby Ke-ll when he was getting sent off to earth but General Zod gave his instead and he turned out to be his son. Kirk Langstorm takes the Man-Bat formula and becomes Vampire and from there he becomes Batman. Wonder Women for some reason is Ares daughter. <br/><br/>The movie is also very brutal in a way because a lot of innocent scientists get murdered by Will Magnus&#39;s droids to frame the JL.<br/><br/>What doesn&#39;t make sense is like why was Will Magnus evil and why did he make a robotic version of Tina (Kirk&#39;s love interest who he kills by smashing her head through a table).<br/><br/>Overall it was an awesome movie and good voice cast.
Justice League: Gods And Monsters are reimagined in ways that breathe new life into the mantles. I loved every minute of it. It was a fun twist to the familiar stories and the interactions between the characters and the environment were still ever so realistic and relatable. hemp CBD buds
